All diseases of the skin (dermatology) – allergology – environmental medicine – male-specific medicine (andrology) – venous diseases (phlebology) – venerology

2. Specific main focuses of medical care

Operative emphases:

• Excision of benign changes and malignant tumors (melanoma, skin cancer) from the skin, subcutaneous tissue, ears and nose (dermatosurgery, oncology and histology)
• Excision of sentinel lymph nodes (leading European center for sentinel lymphonodectomy)
• Skin transplantations and plastic reconstructions (e.g. lip, nose)
• Vein operations
• Photodynamic therapy, laser applications, cold therapy (cryotherapy)

Conservative emphases:

• Diagnostics and treatment of allergic skin diseases and reactions, atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) as well as reactions after contact with toxicities, foods, medicaments, and animals
• Skin, blood and provocation tests in suspicion of diverse allergies
• Hyposensitization treatment
• Skin cancer screening, also computer-aided
• Infection diseases (like shingles, herpes, venereal diseases, etc.)
• Treatment of chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis, autoimmune diseases, or other diseases with skin phenomena
• Treatment of severe skin diseases and skin diseases of patients with serious concomitant
• diseases respectively, also in interdisciplinary cooperation with all clinics of the clinical center
