1. Medical service portfolio

Conservative and operative treatment of all diseases of the vascular system, all vascular-surgical interventions at all arteries and veins including endografts, placement von shunts for dialysis treatment

2. Specific main focuses of medical care

In cooperation with the Clinic for Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology and the II. Medical Clinic in the Vascular Center (acknowledgment by the German Society for Vascular Surgery):

• Treatment of the arterial occlusion disease at the leg (stadium II-IV) and of the diabetic foot by
• placement of circulation bypasses and patch plastics at blood vessels
• Open and stent-supported (in cooperation with radiology) treatment of wall enlargements of
• arteries (aneurysms) in the thoracic cavity / intraabdominal space
• Open and stent-supported (in cooperation with radiology) treatment of narrowings of the carotid
• arteries
• Therapy of vein diseases (varix)
• Removal of acute occlusions and blood clots (thrombectomy, embolectomy)
• Medical care for chronic ulcers at feet and legs
•  Amputations due to circulatory disturbances in the arterial system
  
• Vascular accesses (shunts / ports)
• Vascular laboratory with arterial and venous functional diagnostics, vascular outpatients’
  treatment by Doppler and all current examination methods (treadmill ergometry, duplex,plethysmography, TcPO2)

• Special consultation hours for specific patient groups, e.g. shunt patients, patients with chronic wounds, ostoperative checking after bypass operations, postoperative checking after endovascular aorta surgery, phlebologic consultation hours
