- General and regional anesthesia for operations and diagnostics for patients of all medical disciplines and for patients of all ge groups and risk categories
- Patient-controlled peridural anesthesia for easing labor
- Intensive medical care observation and
treatment of patients of all operative medical disciplines
- Pain therapy including invasive methods
- Reanimation teams for the Augsburg Clinical Center
- Intensive care transport (transport of critically ill patients between clinics)

3. Further services offered
The clinic for anesthesiology and operative intensive medicine and the central surgery department maintain a certified quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001:2000 to promote continuous quality improvement.
- Implementation of all important anesthesiologic and intensive medicine methods, e.g. foreign blood saving methods (machine autotransfusion), invasive monitoring including transesophageal echo cardiography, application of kidney substitute methods
